Well it's been almost a month since I worked for an employer. I didn't qualify for unemployment, but even if I did, I would have earned too much to qualify!! Pretty sweet eh? One job's leading to another, and I'm grateful that all my steps are in order for the next one. Each day I am excited and not anxious about what God will bring for me to do. I am going to be designing a rack card to share with the general public; details of my new business. But for now I've go to learn about the legal pieces. Such as a NAME, and getting it registered with the state of Vermont! Someone on facebook suggested "Simply Mona". It's a good place to start I think.

What do YOU think?? Should I have a contest? We'll keep you posted! Thanks for prayin' for me - it's really helping me out big time!

Now I am clean and He resides inside my sanctuary

I now can hear what you hear Lord - I see just what you see

We ALL can be your hands - your arms - It's not just ME it's WE

So send me to your people Lord - yes send me to the masses

He gave me new eyes this past weekend while volunteering on the Relief Bus NH/VT crew. I saw people through some serious “LOVE GLASSES”.
As I sat there amazed at how beautiful the works of art were flowing out of me with such ease (painting on people for 4 hours) it finally occurred to me: JESUS is the one painting through me!! He’s giving each person that I painted, a special gift from the Father himself. HOW COOL IS THAT?
I have a new light to work by, and I can’t wait to get started on new works to see what Jesus wants to give to this world, through me. (Why me Lord?) I am amazed.

Life Is GOOD!

My twin brother had a birthday in January and turned 51.

Yesterday, my 6th grandchild turned 4.

My 7 yr. old grand daughter will go on a trip this weekend with her Daddy to visit his family.

I will spend time with my 10 yr. old grandson.

I look forward to singing and leading others to worship on Sunday.

My husband of 4 yrs is sleeping in today.

My 3rd adult child has 3 children and will be hearing from the housing people soon about renting her own apartment, and moving out of our home.

I am grateful for God's timing.

I miss my 28 yr old daughter and pray she finds deep peace today.

My oldest son is an amazing master craftsman.

My youngest son is an amazing guitar player - but then again, his brother makes some terrific sounds from his guitar too.

I gave my 5th grandchild a ride home from school yesterday and we went shopping for birthday presents. He really didn't find that all that meaningful, but I hope someday he will remember that I love his personality.

I have today off from work. I am grateful that I have one day out of the week to take care of important things. I can also just do what ever I like on these days.

And the last word of this blog shall be LOVE.

Dear Love,
Where would I be without you?
I would be a sad, and lonely girl. I would be selfish -totally ignoring my family and friends. (Unless they could give me what I wanted.) I would be drunk, and lost. Without you, love, I would be sick. I would be searching for people, places and things to satisfy my soul. I would be dead.
And so Love - I am glad I have you in my life. You fill me with a purpose to live. You direct me every day. You cause me to speak to strangers without fear. You nudge me to give without boundaries. You give me hope for a future. You've wiped out the darkness that covered me and replaced it with a blanket of comfort, protection and gratitude.

There is just one thing that matters...
Did I do my best to live for truth, did I live my life for YOU?
I'm sure there will come a day when a Christ follower will have to be quiet about their faith. For me it's like breathing though. I will probably die for Him someday. Because I won't keep silent. I love Him, and I owe Him everything.
Every good and perfect gift has come from above. Not from majic. Not from synconicity. From HIM. Our creator. And I am at peace more than any other time in my life. I believe He's causing my life to be this rich right now, and I am amazed because of the grace I have right now. I do NOT deserve to be this happy. I have NOT earned this peace.
I am grateful for this love, and I pray it is felt by those who are closest to me.

Next Stop: Unicorn Craft Fair!

I've never had enough inventory to ever get a space at a craft fair. There's excuse #1.
I'm an artist - I'm moody. Excuse #2.
No one wants my stuff. Excuse #3.
I'm too self conscious. Excuse #4.

No matter how many excuses I can come up with, God is telling me it's time. and I want to please Him the most, so I'm putting my best foot forward, and I'm going to try. No more excuses. No more trying to talk myself out of it for ANY reason. It's time. That's all.

And so I'm sanding away the pieces of wood that's been on the shelf for years, waiting for such a time as this. I'm plotting out my course. Doing my research. Listening to the pros.

And I'm just going to have FUN with this by golly! Cuz isn't that why God made me? To have fun with the gifts He's given me, and make sure it blesses Him while I'm at it.

I can do that.

I'm just grateful today that I am aware of all the gifts that are coming to me. God has poured out in abundance: wisdom, joy, hope and peace. It's all real, and it's all because I put my trust in Him.
